The fast-moving snow showers left behind a light dusting in many areas, especially to the north and west of Mecklenburg County, despite not bringing significant snowfall.

With the early morning snow mostly gone, Tuesday is expected to remain chilly, with highs reaching the mid-40s around Charlotte and only the 20s and 30s in the mountainous areas.
